Lutellus "Lew" Ralph Baumgartel, III, US Army

A Celebration of Life service for Lutellus "Lew" Ralph Baumgartel, III was held on 20 January, 2023 @3pm at Sykes Funeral Home.  

Lew was born on July 13, 1963, in Pennsylvania.  He passed away on January 16, 2023.  Lew was a veteran of the United States Army and was a proud supporter of the 2nd Amendment.  Aside from his family he loved 5 things: his dog Little Bit, his country, Alabama Football, smoking a good cigar, and guns.    

He is preceded in death by his father, Lutellus Ralph Baumgartel, II.  Lew is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Baumgartel; mother, Marlene Baumgartel; children, Nicholas (Hannah) Baumgartel and Abbey (Patrick Gonzalez)Baumgartel; grandchildren, Grayson Knox Baumgartel and one on the way, Bodhi Baumgartel; and sister, Stephanie (Hunter) Short.
